Tampa Devs teamed up with the IEEE Computer Society at USF for an evening with speaker Justin Herron, who tackled one of tech's most intimidating topics — cloud computing — and made the case that it's far more approachable than most people think. Herron walked students through a live demonstration of how cloud architecture comes together, breaking down its moving parts and cutting through the noise on which skills and certifications are actually worth pursuing.
To top it off, Herron brought along a stack of Red Hat swag and handed out badges for Tampa Devs' brand new MeetPass program — a fitting reward for the night's attendees.
Thank you again to all the organizers at IEEE Computer Society at USF, as we hope to do more events like this with the IEEE in the near future.
